Sorry for not updating. Yesterday was a busy day for us. Brouke was life flighted back to her original hospital where i gave birth to her at. Since she is stable from a cardiac stand point there is no need for her to stay in the CICU. She is now in the PICU and we really could use all the prayers for our daughter. They are trying to get her lungs in tip top shape for the second stage. Because she has high Pressured lungs with the second stage it is gravity meaning the blood falls by gravity if she has high pressured lungs the second stage will not work because the blood will stay in her head anf not be able to come down. We are hoping and praying her lungs will get better with time and her shunt will allow that and she will not out grow it. What she has essentially is call dead space meaning from air being forced in from the ventilator it becomes chronic lung disease or dead air because it is not normal for air being forced in your lungs. All her numbers from her blood gas is right excet her PCo2 is high because of that. Please Prayers. Miracles Happen Everyday!
