May 2 -7:30pm It is the final weekend of performances for Portland State Universitys production of the opera, A Midsummer Nights Dream. Tickets are $15-$26. The concert will end with an invigorating performance of Beethovens iconic Symphony No. 5 with guest conductor Peter Shannon. Student tickets start at $5 with regular admission at $45. The group will be joined by string players of the Third Angle New Music Ensemble. The performance will be at Rose City Park Presbyterian Church and there is a free will offering. -4:00pm Community Music Center - Portland Parks & Recreation presents a Faculty Showcase Benefit Concert.
