Sorry for the delay in accepting the book list challenge @smriti Arun its almost sad that I wasnt tagged by more people..and even sadder that I cant think of too many people who read and who would accept my challenge.. but thank you for tagging me! Hard to put down just 10 books but here goes...in no particular order and the first books that come to mind... Kane and Abel - Jeffrey Archer - For some reason can read this book over and over and over again...Had the great fortune of interviewing Jeffrey Archer too! Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold - Stories about afterlife really interest me Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - JK Rowling - Hard to pick one from the series but i love competition :D Little Women - Louisa May Alcott - one of the first classics my mom made me read.. The Adrian Mole Series - Sue Townsend - My love for socially awkward yet sarcastic and funny protagonists came from these books. Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini - This book really made me appreciate the good life i have. Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger - Who doesnt love a book that is about teenage angst! Where are the Children? - Mary Higgins Clark - Ok Mary Higgins Clark books are my guilty pleasure. I absolutely loveeee crime and suspense fiction. This book is just one of many. Matilda - Roald Dahl - I loved all books by Roald Dahl but this one is my absolute fav not to mention the movie did quite a lot of justice to the book. Comfort me with Apples/ Garlic and Sapphires - Ruth Reichl - Being a food critic would be one of my dream jobs and these two books by food writer Ruth Reichl makes me want to write about food even more. Phew choosing just 10 books was super hard...Have to mention Enid Blyton books that were my constant companion through my growing years. And really rubbish RL Stine books that first got me interested in the horror genre. Im not one of the follow the herd on Facebook type of person but its super interesting to see lists from people about books theyve read sooo I tag the few people who i know read at all.- Ratna Shekar Mallika Narain Tarika Narain Megha Suresh Kruttika Vijay Rules: Do not take more than a few minutes and dont think too hard.
