Sorry for the hiatus folks, I had some personal issues that I had been dealing with four the past few days that took precedent over this page. Anyway, were back! Id like to start back up by offering a hypothetical situation and asking how you, as an atheist, would respond. Heres the scenario: A person gets hit by a car and is knocked unconscious. The paramedics rush them to the hospital where doctors work for hours on reconstructive surgery, letting the family know that there is a slim chance they will recover with full brain function. After several days they come to and eventually make a complete recovery. The family claims it was god watching over them and thats the only reason they survived. Do you as an atheist ask them where god was when the person was hit by the car? Do you tell them to give the medical staff at the hospital the credit they deserve? Or do you let them go on believing their god was responsible? Id like your thoughts on this please. I
