Sorry for the lapse in vocabulary of the day, our head teacher was feeling under the weather (unwell). Today’s subject is HEALTH Come down with = start to be ill - I don’t think I’ll go to work tomorrow, I feel like I’m coming down with the flu. (flu=influenza=grip) Pass out = to faint/become unconscious. - I went to the doctor because I passed out in the street twice last week. Shake off = recover from Blocked-up (adjective) - I hope I can shake this cold of before my IELTS exam; it’s really hard to talk with a blocked-up nose! (cold=nezle) Have a good Friday and good luck for all the IELTS exam takers tomorrow, we hope you don’t come down with something. :)
