Sorry for the late update!! Aubreys mom is in the hospital and ended up having surgery today which wasnt expected so much of the day was crazy busy!! However - we did get the results of Coltons MRI/MRA! MRI of the brain came back as normal. They said there was excess fluid however the structure of everything in his brain is good. The nerves also look good so that was a good sign. MRI of the back stated that tethered spinal cord is apparent - however at this point he is showing no symptoms of it being a hindrance at this point so they will recheck him in 3-6 months. So far that can be done here so we are happy to hear that! They noticed with his MRI that he has a fluid build up around his left side in the front. They consulted with pediatric surgery and confirmed that he again has a hernia on his left side. Nothing was found on the right side - however they will have to repair this hernia as well. Within the week he will have surgery to place tubes to get rid of the fluid, remove his extra toe and now to repair his hernia. They are waiting to get all of their schedules to line up so he can go to the OR once instead of multiple times. His MRA showed that his right pulmonary artery is severely small. His right pulmonary artery is currently measuring between 2-3mm whereas a normal artery would measure around 6mm for his age. His left pulmonary artery is also small - however not near as small as the right. We will meet with cardiology to talk about a plan. We read in the notes the plan is for a cath procedure - however well see what is discussed and said on Friday. Otherwise not much is new or changing. He enjoys going around in his new stroller (will take pics and post later) and he likes being in the mamaroo! He really likes anything that isnt in his crib - so hes definitely getting a personality! Hes a pretty calm baby! Thanks so much for all your prayers and well wishes over these past few days! It has been busy and hectic and we appreciate all of you!
