Sorry for the multiple posts on this subject but Im too giddy to stop myself. It might seem silly and simplistic, but its the small acts of compassion, like a childrens hospital partnering with the local police and media to bring a Halloween surprise to kids and families, that make all the difference. This didnt cost anyone a dime, except for a little manpower and the money to rent and buy costumes. But it resulted in an entire community feeling proud of the entities that are here to protect and heal them. If you happen to be one of the people who witnessed this event firsthand, or even feel compelled after hearing about it online, please share your feedback in comments here or directly on the video. I want to be able to share the communitys input so we can keep making things like this happen. The current positive response speaks volumes. And I truly believe that events and stories like this resonate far better with the masses than the other topics Toledo has received national attention for. This is only the beginning of a great change we are going to see from Toledo leaders and movers and shakers.
