Sorry, gotta rant for a just moment: Topics like this have run their course In Hollywood over the years and I think should be left alone now. They serve to do nothing but perpetuate hatred. To use the excuse of they deserve what they get because of what they did at Pearl to make movies like this is getting old. Everyones ancestors did crappy things but we don’t need to keep throwing it into the faces of their decedents. Most of ours did horrible things to slaves, Indians, Christians, and countless others. And should we blame todays Germans for what their ancestors did in WWII? I’m sure everyone already agrees that war is horrible. Hollywood needs to make a little less movies that stir up hatred. I work with lots of Japanese military folks and can say with certainty that they are painfully sorry about their ancestors dragging us into WWII. 99% of them are very kind and have no desire at all for violence. They know that their military Leads were AFU in the 40’s. No war should be forgotten, but neither we nor they need another nerve poking movie to keep our memories fresh.
