Sorry no pics tonight/today...but have an interesting story...here we are in Africa...and in this hotel, we are the minority!!!! We stand out like sore-thumbs to the extent that some white folks could not contain themselves...they had to come over...and notice I said "they"...they wanted to know who/what/why!!!..They wanted to know who were we...and they had every right to do so as there are more Europeans coming to Africa on vacation, than people of African descent....So we had some good conversation about this...So while they understand the importance of knowing our history, and our heritage..and our motherland...we in our ignorance find all kinds of excuses for not coming....as one of the ladies said...it is the same cost as buying a stainless steel refrigerator...or putting marble on the kitchen counter...and definitely less than the lexus/MB monthly payments....I can assure you that these black folks who have taken this journey, already acknowledge that their perception have been changed, and all for the positive.....Hope that these pictures will inspire more, especially of this race, to come home to MamaAfrica.....
