Sorry that we missed our update yesterday. Joe has been working extremely hard with classes, therapy and weight lifting starting at 7:30 and going until 4:00. He has been kicking butt. The first picture is of Joe in his new bed last night. He graduated to a full bed in preparation for our discharge in two weeks. It requires a good deal more work to change positions, but is important for transitioning to regular life. The next several pictures are of the two birthday parties that Joe had this evening - one with several other Craig patients and another with friends from school. Joe is blessed with many good friends. They are a very important part of his recovery. Two weeks from tomorrow ... were headed home.
