Sorry, the accountant in me cant resist thinking of (and then looking up) figures. Rough figures said 66% voted. I assumed about 60% voted for BJP. Thats about 40% voted in favour. 34% did not vote at all and 24% voted against. Hardly seemed like a whopping majority. So I visited eciresults.nic.in/ and they say 31% voted in favour - to be precise 17,16,57,549. Only 31% - far lower than the 40% I imagined. Those who voted, you seriously need to do much more to help the present government achieve even 20% of what they (and you) have in mind. Its likely that among the opponents, at least 10% could also be fanatics.

Personally I prefer a South Africa to be a secular state
