Sorry this is 3 days late, but better late than never right?! We Be Lions cd release show was AWESOME! Start to finish, just awesome! Michael Clark is a fresh ingredient in the Omaha singer/songwriter universe that I think is overdue and missing. I loved the humor and entertainment value he brought to his set as well as his ability to remain humble and not take things too seriously. Yet he delivered a great scorcher of a set in 20 minutes. I look forward to working with this artist in the months to come. John Klemmesen & The Party, this act is so talented and fun to watch and we were so honored to have them on one of our shows for the first time. John is pure honey on stage. Avian, BLEW my mind. There were mixed reviews on this act from many I talked too, but they proved to be a love or hate thing cause everyone who liked them loved them. Marq Manner gave me a rave review on this act calling them platinum. We will be bringing them back later in the year. Voodoo Method was flawless and amazing as always. This is hands down one of the very best live acts in Omaha and knows how to work a crowd like a pro. We hope to see them again soon! We Be Lions, my family, I love each and every one of you, any review from me will be full of bias, but you guys are like legit brothers to me, and I feel so blessed and honored to not only be your promoter and manager but your friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your show last Saturday was fantastic and I cherish your new music. Thanks to Kate Lewis and Heather Horst who came out and gave the Lions 100% on stage. Thanks to everyone who gave to the indiegogo campaign, helped promote the show and most importantly showed up to support local music. Huge thanks to 1% Productions and The Waiting Room for letting us host the show at their fantastic venue. Love and respect to everyone on the staff who worked the show, especially Krista, Allie, Matt, Kevin, Feirin, Mike. You guys/gals ROCK! Thanks to 897 The River, UNO Mav Radio, Omaha World Herald, The Reader, Minge Dispatch, Marq Manner, and all the local high schools who helped us make this show a success. To the fans, without you, there is no scene, no matter how good the music is, we have nothing to work for if you don’t inspire us to work harder and get you to attend and spend your hard earned money on what we do, we may me the magicians behind the magic curtain pulling the strings and cords, but it is you who makes all things magical for all of us. Have a great night and we hope to see you all again at the waiting room on April 5 for Saturn Ascends: A Tool Live Tribute Experience.
