Sorry to say i wont be doing the show for the next week or so...i was awoken by tragic news this morning....my final blood aunty, my mami ji (mums brothers wife) has passed away in India...therefore im having to fly out to India tonight in urgent circumstances...kamm taan kadde mukkna ni...but family should come first...no point being called family if you cant be there for each other in times of need...was scheduled to go to India in December anyway but obviously not under these circumstances...were not a big family with loads of uncles and aunties...my dad is an only child and my mum only had one brother who passed away a few years ago...which makes it all the harder to take...my bit of advice for the day, for what its worth, is people spend their whole lives squabbling with their relatives....i see it day in and day out in my job...people arguing over who said what...pieces of land in India worth next to nothing....whos kids are better than whos...people not getting on with each others wives...some relatives getting more money than others..who looks after mum or dad more...things at the end of the day when you die wont even matter in the larger picture of things..We waste a lifetime not speaking to those who are born from the same womb as us...and when they are gone we spend the rest of our lives regretting not talking to them whilst they were alive...if you are going to not talk to your relatives then make sure its not something you wont regret when they are gone!....anyway see you all when i get back....Rabb Rakha...
