Sorry to take over Rockys wall lately but I like Barbs opinion so I kind of trust her ferret friends also. Lol. So I came home to check Kodas sugar tonight however even though I would get a few drops of blood the meter would error out....super frustrating. So I tried to test a few others but couldnt get a reading either. Then I tested Honey Bear who is said to be about 7-8 years old. Im not positive about his age since Ive never seen a 7 year old ferret still war dance. Anyway, Honey Bears sugar cane back at 37. Crap Im thinking he is up and around too. I would think he wouldnt be. I get their soup ready and go into the room and HoneyBear is war dancing. Now I am sure something is wrong since there is no way he is war dancing with a sugar of 37! Now I am out of test strips and 2 pharmacies near me are out of the battery the alpha trak uses. Grrrr
