Sorry we havent kept you all upto date on Harrison, as we have had a lot of you to get back to but thank you all for your kind messages and phone calls, it really does mean a lot to know you are all thinking of our little boy. Since the second op they have found that the hole they were closing hasnt closed completely but instead of operating again they are going to monitor it and see how it goes. Hopefully it could close up on its own in time. We have also had trouble with his oxygen levels and feeding. They discovered on Sunday the reason for this is that during the second op the left diaphragm was paralysed, causing the diaphragm to push up into the left lung and then affect his breathing and eating. They are operating again this afternoon to sort this. They cant fix the diaphragm, they will simply pin it down so that the left lung can function better and hopefully get him off the oxygen. Fingers crossed that if all goes well today we might be able to bring him home end of next week. Other than that, Harrison is looking well. He is very happy and content and you wouldnt know he had been through what he has. Hes a little fighter
