Sorta Tim update: Because there will be a bigger update tomorrow. We are scheduled for a status hearing tomorrow in Nashville to submit our written petition for post-conviction appeal and schedule the evidentiary hearing for hopefully next month, in which well fry our trial lawyer and call out all the law-breaking by the State of TN in their handling of Tims prosecution. Should be a good show, you should come! We feel really good about this one, there is so much we have and we all finally feel like we have a lawyer that gets it and is prepared with a strategy we agree with. Also tomorrow as per the first appellate court, Tims sentenced will be reduced from 70 to probably 40 years. None of us particularly care about that; 40 is as bad as 70 is as bad as 2. Im just thrilled we get to turn in our petition, Jay and Tim and I have been working like mad on it almost every day for about 2 months, its like the most important term paper in my life. We just put the finishing touches on it tonight, and Im anxious but feeling strong. Tim didnt sleep last night and I doubt hell sleep tonight. Well feel a lot better once we know when our REAL day in court will be. Prayers and good vibes please, especially pray that the date is not going to be April 10 or 11 (KC Chrism Mass that I MUST attend for work). Now watch it totally be one of those days. Sigh.
