Sound Card Demonstration and Comparison - My Toshiba Satellite C55D has a pretty good internal sound card and internal speakers - for watching videos and listening to music casually. When hooking up external speakers or headphones, the sound is amplified, but the quality is the same as the internal speakers. With the addition of an external USB sound card and hooking up the external speakers to the external sound card, the difference is huge - for the better. Her is a video demonstration. Sorry for the lighting - but the sound demo is what matters.
