Soup Grant Lansing is a creative, grassroots organization supporting Greater Lansing. Every month we gather for dinner and hear about what people are doing in GL to make a positive change in their neighborhoods and communities. After dinner, we vote on our favorite project and the winner takes home the money to get their idea kickstarted! Right now were raising money for the year so that we can do a couple things: -Support the church where weve been meeting every month -Give gas money to volunteers -Support a local, Michigan-based graphic design artist to makeover our logo/poster -Compensate Terry, our fantastic soup chef, for all the hard work and delicious food she has been preparing since July If you feel so compelled, we would love your support! Were doing a lot in GL and we only plan to keep growing and to keep bringing people together one soup dinner at a time! If youre in GL, come see us on Feb 20! We already have two great entries who will be presenting and competing for the micro-grant and I personally cant wait! In addition to that, Rothman Reyes and I will be presenting our backpacks to a local homeless shelter and resource center who will be joining us as our guest!
