Source of controversy. No matter what the main message of this article is the Fact or Belief but I have to inform you (Sophie Brown, CNN) that Alien labor is another key factor of Thailands economy, especially in fishing industry which contributes the vital source of national revenue. Why important? As you understood, they (these alien labors from neighboring countries, for em, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia) come to Thailand to get jobs, money, and then back to their home countries. Even though you have claimed that Thai employers pay them under-accepted low wage, but there is no one force them to come. Most of them are illegal (informal) labor force - come to Thailand by boat or something you and I might not be able to imagine. What does it mean? They have choices. They can go back to their home countries as they want (like the scenarios taken place for the last few weeks). Do you really think they are innocent and do know what will be happen if they come working to Thailand? Of course, Yes. They know (but may not realize). However, not all these workers live under the sufficient living standard, I would like to give you an example. In some provinces at the Southern of Thailand, most of the rubber workers are undocumented and documented labor. BUT they are not poor actually. Some families can be a car (Pickup truck) and enjoy the weekend with shopping in Tesco Lotus. Their daughters and sons go to local stats school. And ALL families can use Thailand Public Hospital as residents (Documented/Registered foriegn labor can use subsidized policy about hospitals charge/fee). Yes, they have their purchasing power. They have home, eat rice, and sleep in a bed. Air conditioner is over expected. What I would like to tell you is not to deny the bad situations about trafficking in Thailand but I would like to give you another side of the real world. Greedy and envy world is not so much beautiful in fairy tale - ending with the happiness. edition.cnn/2014/06/20/world/asia/thailand-trafficking-report/index.html?iref=allsearch
