South Africa have been announced as the hosts for the 2015 edition of the COSAFA Cup. There was no 2014 edition of the COSAFA Cup, but the tournament will resume next year. Patel said that he was grateful to SAFA and SAFA president Danny Jordaan for agreeing to host the 2015 edition. Jordaan added that from their side they would work hard to fill the stadiums for the tournament, and would focus on marketing early. Venues and dates for the tournament will be announced at a later stage, but it is expected to be during the off season. It was also announced that Zambia would host the U20 tournament. Amajita are the defending champions, having won it when it was held in Lesotho.
