The store, which is on the former Homebase site at Queens Drive, will open on October 31. Entrepreneur Chris Dawson, owner and founder of The Range, said: The continued success of The Range is down to the staff we employ, we are very pleased to be creating a number of jobs in the area and look forward to inviting potential employees to join the team. I would like to thank the council for welcoming us and being so supportive. We feel that The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and we are confident that the people of Kilmarnock will enjoy what The Range has to offer. The Plymouth-based company announced plans in April to create 150 new jobs in Aberdeen with plans to open a store in vacant units at the Queens Links Leisure Park.
