South By South Bend rocked our town last weekend; the city was electric! The music festival featured 60 bands, 40 of which are from South Bend! The Purple Porch Co-op was proud to be part of this incredible event. We hosted a concert last Thursday night of Joshua Barton & Seerstones and Peter J Hochstedler. Great turnout and energy! Peter is a true artist, with layered lyrics, an honest voice, and alive energy. His music is simultaneously personal, political, deep, and simple. As an audience member, you are drawn into Peters poetry and cling to every word. Peter is currently raising funds for his new album.
