#SouthAustralia #Weather #SevereWarning #SA #CTCorp 5:16pm Update:~~SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for DAMAGING WIND and LARGE HAILSTONES For people in the North East Pastoral and parts of the Flinders, Riverland and North West Pastoral districts. Issued at 5:16 pm Saturday, 22 November 2014. Thunderstorms are occurring in the warning area and some of these are likely to be severe producing damaging wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h during this afternoon and evening. There continues to be a risk of large hailstones with the storms in the far south of the North East Pastoral district and in the Riverland. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Leigh Creek, Marree, Oodnadatta and Ernabella. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Move cars under cover or away from trees. * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby. The next warning is due to be issued by 8:20 pm. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureaus website at bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 215. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
