Southampton to earn £36m from sale of Lovren to Liverpool and Chambers to Arsenal Southamptons summer sales are to continue in the coming days, with the club in line to earn £36million from deals that will see Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers move to Liverpool and Arsenal respectively. This has been a summer of change on the south coast, with Saints best-ever Premier League finish swiftly followed by the rapid disintegration of their squad. After manager Mauricio Pochettino and his staff left for Tottenham, long-serving duo Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana moved to Liverpool either side of 19-year-old Luke Shaws exit to Manchester United. Those departures brought in upwards of £60million and the coffers are to be boosted further by the imminent exits of two more players, adding that £60million to the £36million and the £77million that Saints received in prize money for finshing 8th, brings the total to £173million thus far and that figure does not take into account sponsorship, ticket sales or sales of club merchandise. With the futures of Jay Rodriguex and Morgan Schneiderlin uncertain, saints could well bring in over £200 million.
