Southeast Asian Press Alliance (#SEAPA), in cooperation with its Phnom Penh based partner the Cambodian Center for Independent Media ( #CCIM), is organising a series of Town Hall Meetings and Journalists Trainings taking place in Phnom Penh and Mundulkiri provinces, from July 11th to 15th, 2013. Through the Town hall Meeting SEAPA and CCIM expect to encourage discussions between the #media and civil society and to remind the media about their roles and ethical obligations. The two collaborative institutions also wish the #journalists training being conducted after the Town hall Meeting will help Cambodian journalists to apply their knowledge of the #elections, ethical standards and professional skills to ensure that they are able to report to the best of their abilities in the lead up and during the elections.
