Southeastern Bible College has had a huge impact on my family. My son Chase McLain graduated from there, met his wife Alyxis McLain there (so in a way my grandson Finn is a result of SEBC), and he works there. My daughter Molly McLain is a freshman at SEBC. My wife Elaine Causey McLain even works there part-time now. Over the last six years, Ive become friends with some of the students (too many to name here) and staff. Through SEBC, I first learned of the Apologetics Resource Center and became friends with Clete Hux and Craig Branch. I have been fortunate to have partnered with Clete and Craig on some ministry events. Through SEBC, we learned about King Bible Club and had some great ministry experiences as a family. I am very thankful for President Don Hawkins, Lynn Gannett-Malick, Kristie Harrick, Judy Everett, Dwain Waldrep, Steve Cowan, Micah Simpson, Paul Willard, and several other people at SEBC and the influence they have had on my family. Im sure that they often do not think about the far-reaching effects that results from their time at SEBC, but I hope that one day they will know of the many lives and many generations that were changed for the better because they were used by God.
