Southern Tier Pumking. 8.6% ABV. I really like the nose on this one. Vanilla bean, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and pumpkin. The taste is too strong on the spice end. Tons of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, hints of vanilla and graham cracker with the slightest thread of pumpkin on the back end. Not pumpkin enough, as most people have said. I tend to prefer pumpkin beers that taste like pumpkin more than spices. This is sweet and strongly spiced. The nose is wonderful but the taste isnt what Id hoped for. Still not too bad though, Im enjoying it, just not really as a pumpkin beer.
