Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown white male who boldly stole three television sets from the Lehigh Acres Wal Mart last week. According to detectives, the man entered the store at 2523 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th. Surveillance cameras spotted him walking directly to the electronics section of the store, where he picked up three 40 inch flat screen television sets, and quickly ran out of the store with the TV’s in hand. The thief loaded the stolen goods into a white vehicle, which was waiting for him in front of the store, then took off in an unknown direction. Anyone with information on the identity of the TV thief is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
