Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you. - Hosea 10:12 It is here that Gods people are commanded to prepare their hearts to receive the rain of Gods Spirit - revival. To this end: --We read Gods Word so that He may sow into our lives so that we may bear fruit --We worship so that we may experience Gods presence in our subjective experience --We pray so that we may strengthen our spiritual being --We fast so that the fleshly nature becomes weakened, strengthening our ability to say no to the fleshly desires that war against our soul. To these ends, I am entering a new season of seeking God that will involve a slightly modified Daniel fast as part of the 21 days of fasting going on at Safe Harbor Christian Church from Jan 4-25. I will also be fasting from Facebook during this time. I will be seeking God during this time with Ann Carter, Michael Carter, Robert Carter, Lewis Craig, Chris Robinson, Teresa Curry-Boyd, Clifford White, Terry J Boger, Maria Herth Schulz, and many others
