Lochview stables At Lochview stables we aim to create a happy, relaxed, yet professional livery yard for both horse and rider. Whether youre looking to compete at a higher level or have a horse as a loving pet, we cater to all needs. Our packages include; Full livery £84 per week Full schooling livery £126 per week (this includes all that the full livery package includes but also has your horse exercised up to 3 x per week) Both packages ensure your horse is completely cared for 365 days a year, including Feeding and haying Daily mucking out Turn-out and bringing in Changing rugs as required Hosing feet Holding for the Vet and Farrier. Evening Skip out Full use of all the Facilities Full schooling livery gives all of the above but includes peace of mind that when unavailable, your horses training can continue. The same service can be applied to full livery clients whilst on holiday. Feed Feeding requirements are discusses prior to arrival, most horses are fed from our stock supplies, but individual needs can be catered for by arrangement (this may be at an additional fee) We are happy to feed any thing you require i.e. supplements, apples and carrots etc. please supply your own and we will be happy to add them to your horses feed as required. Turning out All horses are turned out and brought in daily unless it is not safe or practical to do so. Included in this service is the changing of any rugs, fly masks, boots etc that may be required. Fly-repellents can be spayed on the horses during summer. Mucking out All the stables have wood pellet bedding; these are mucked out daily and freshened up as required with clean bedding. An evening skip out is also included in our prices. Rug rails Each stable is allocated a corresponding rug rail all under the same roof, making storage of all those bulky winter rugs a bit easier. Worming The yard will have an annual worming plan in place including worm counts and then after results horses are wormed accordingly . Clients can supply there own wormers when required or can have the cost added to there bill. Loch view stables Facilities Stables: American barn stabling for 24 horses each stable 12x12 with access to automatic water drinkers Turn out in secure paddock (mares and geldings grazed separately) Indoor arena: 25x45 flood lit arena with “equestrian surfaces” cushion track surface Jumps: Full set of show jumps Solarium: Solarium with cross ties Wash bay: complete with hot shower and cross ties Hacking: Direct access around the loch with grassy paths and traffic free hacking Tack room: Secure tack room, with individual storage lockers, access to microwave tea/coffee making facilities Toilet: Clean toilet and washing facilities on site Qualified and experienced staff Owner/manager living on-site About us We are a family run yard who has been involved with horses for 16 years. The yard will be run By Jill Stevenson Horses have been a massive part of my life ever since I started riding lessons at the age 11. Since then I have never wanted to do anything other than work with horses. I studied at Oatridge Agricultural Collage and after I received a HND with merit I focus on my British horse society qualifications. I am now a BHS PTT (preliminary teacher) and have passed my stage 3. I competed from the age of 13 to 17 in Junior BSJA and now compete in senior BSJA at Newcomers level with a young novice horse.
