Spanish newspaper Marca says a €25m (£19.9m) deal has been agreed with Bayern Munich and will be completed after the tournament. The paper says only a few minor details need to be ironed out, with clauses and add-ons still to be agreed. Kroos has been part of an ongoing transfer dispute with the German giants, which allowed Real Madrid to get him for such a low price - Kroos is arguably worth double what Real Madrid are paying. The 24-year-old midfielder has just a year left on his current deal and has refused to put pen to paper on a new one, despite ongoing negotiations. Had he done that Bayern would not have received any fee for the young star. He is paid £60,000-per-week at Bayern and can expect a significant increase in Madrid. Kroos is a long-term target of Manchester United, but the European champions moved first. The classy midfielder has been one of Germanys best players in Brazil. Starting all four matches for Joachim Low he has one assist and an astonishing pass completion rate of 91.4 per cent. For Bayern last season he scored four goals and added eight assists in 45 matches as the club won Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal Cup. However, Kroos was believed to have been upset at the role he had under Pep Guardiola, preferring a more advanced role to the holding role he often played last season.
