Sparta who is supposed to be going out to potty made her way to the gate to say hello to most of my crew once again. You can she is friendly, and wants to be part of the group. Her meetings with them is becoming a daily thing now, and she has shown no aggression towards males/females/ big or small. She is much more free now in her meeting with them too, she started out just looking from a distance, then going half way, and finally getting closer and staying longer. She no longer goes completely to the floor, she stays standing with her tail wagging, and has wonderful body language. I have no doubt she will do just fine with other dogs. She will still need work with food and maybe toys, but just dog to dog is no problem. You can also see she looks great and has a bounce her step now. I am not going to push the issue just yet with socializing, Ill give her a few more days to to recoup, but will start walking her with my dogs soon. (still only gets short walks for health reasons) but it helps her build muscle back that she lost from being starved, helps her organs function better, and helps her mentally by releasing frustration of being crated, so much going on around her that shes not used to, and helps release her energy.
