Speaker of the House of representatives, Aminu Tambuwal will on Monday purchase the expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to enable him join the presidential race. According to PM NEWS, APC lawmakers are prepared to back Tambuwals presidential bid because of his young age. A source who spoke anonymously to PM NEWS reportedly said, The leaders of APC have settled for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal as the party’s presidential candidate in the 2015 election. Although the decision is not public yet, there is a consensus of opinion by our leaders that the Speaker (Tambuwal) be allowed to fly the flag of the party in the presidential election. Tambuwal was originally expected to join the Sokoto gubernatorial race. So far, the speaker is yet to issue an official statement concerning his 2015 aspiration.
