Speaking against a #government or any part of a countrys actions - TopicsExpress

Speaking against a #government or any part of a countrys actions anywhere as we are free to do here in Australia, or in the US or any democratic country is fine. Freedom of speech is good for a country to help it grow and be what it needs to be for all her citizens. This does not make someone anti-Australian. Being anti-Australian means something different. Its hoping for the downfall of Australia; its attempting to prevent her sovereignty; its deriding it at every opportunity in public. Thats not what a citizen would do, usually. Is it? So, then to apply that to Israel, or rather anti-Israel thinking.... Anyone can and should speak against any policy or practice of his government, thats democracy. But to hate, and such as happened to the rabbi in Perth, or the school kids on the bus, or happens now each weekend in Town Hall by the pro-Hamas rally protesters, thats anti-Israel. And thats not free speech alone-- thats hate, and inciting to riot, and I have a hard time separating anti-Israel from anti-Semitism.
