Speaking from the heart as I look at the 6th decade of life. Im amazing that Ive made it this far in my life, obviously not without the help of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life. But I tell ya, its been one tough ride, especially when you are born with a condition such as I have. The constant rejections and ridicules Ive taken over the period of my life time has caused me to be so insecure about myself and I even began to hate and despise my own life because of it to the place of been suicidal at one point in my life until Jesus came into my life. One thing I have to say though is those who have accept me regardless have found that I have a real and genuine heart. God has blessed me with such a beautiful person who genuinely loves and accepts me with her heart and thats my babe Ruby Gibuu and her children. Ive had the best 24 years of my life because of them and I love them so much for it. Some people may not agree with how we got together but one things for sure is Im not hurting anymore or feeling out of place. Whenever it comes time for us to leave this earth, we told the kids we want to remain together after cremation. I tease them and tell them were gonna share a coffee can together. I share this so that people will understand that those who have been very unfortunate to be born with a cleft pallet were not born that way by choice and if you give them half a chance youll find that they have a real and genuine heart. Thank you Babe,Ruby Gibuu thank you Samantha Gibuu, Gina Barton, Karla Barton, and Grant Barton and all the Grand kids for all your love, acceptance and respect for me. Youve given me such a beautiful home and life here in Vancouver. Most of all I thank my God that in His grace and mercy Hes allowed me this chance in life. Please understand, this is not a pity story, but just me speaking from the heart. :-)
