Speaking from the perspective of one with 18 years of so called education,.....Its crap! when you drop your kids off at that school in the morning,..youre literally dumping them into a mind altering machine of ideologies and social agendas...now im not condemning you, as this is not merely my opinion,..we can trace our educational system all the way back to Prussia,..there is no denying what it is, or the purpose that it was designed to serve. Public schools in particular are the greatest failure of our society today, perhaps this has had too much to do with the governments involvement, or other socio-economic factors,..could probably put the blame on a gazillion reasons,...and i dont mean to hurt any ones feelings, i know many teachers and i know they believe that they are really benefiting the children, they mean well, they do. I had some great teachers that i thought very highly of, and some that i absolutely hated,...but its not about them,...its the system itself. the standardized class room, the standardized academic criteria. 90% of what most k-12 schoolers learn in public school today,..will never prove useful in 90% of their lives. Its bunk, absolutely useless information. There was a time when people sought out real education and knowledge,...now it is conformity, obedience without question, respect authority, accept authority as truth, do not be offensive, do not speak too loudly, do not promote ideas not currently shared by the perceived majority consensus. So that you can go to work, fill out the paper work and operate the machines in exchange for paper credits that allow you to have the convenient access to the basic necessities of life. The only species on planet earth that does this.
