Speaking of cutting the cord...I have realized that Peyton asks me to do EVERYTHING for her, and since Im on a roll with the little ones, I nonchalantly do it for her. But spending time with her all week, I actually took a step back and made her do every little request she asked of me, on her own. Wouldnt ya know she made her own pbj, opened her own apple sauce, tied her own shoes, and organized her room. The answer is no, unless you physically cannot do it on your own AFTER youve tried. Ahh... Raising my kids to be independent is exhausting, but totes worth it in the end. 😬
