Speaking of great movies, Glen Grant, I watched The Dish yesterday. I love my Netflix account! From Wikipedia, The Dish is a 2000 Australian film that tells the story of how the Parkes Observatory was used to relay the live television of mans first steps on the moon, during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. I was fascinated! I did not know that what I have come to know and love about Apollo 11 was all visually possible because of the big, massive satellite dish in Australia! The tale of being able to capture that giant leap for mankind has just as much heart-pounding white-knuckled excitement as Armstrongs feat to land that bird on the moon with only 30 seconds of fuel left.
