Speaking of parents who refuse to have their children vaccinated for fear it will cause autism, among other bad things, really ought to sit down with an open mind and heart, and watch this program. Its available streaming online, as well as on TV. There is no evidence linking autism to vaccines, but there is plenty of evidence linking autism (and schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning disabilities...) to toxoplasmosis. And the place most American children get exposed to it is from house cat poop----dried, powdered, and in their sand box, dirt pile, or even on unwashed or insufficiently washed fruits and veggies----and in utero. Cats who are never allowed outdoors do not get the disease nor pass it along.
