Speaking to journalists shortly after picking his forms, Awwal Tukur, son of the former PDP National Chairman, Bamanga Tukur, said when asked if he has stepped down for Ribadu, “I have not stepped down for Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and as you see, I’ve come here this afternoon to pick up my form, that alone is an indication that I am on the race and we will see what happens after we have our elections.” I wonder who Bamanga Tukur will support between his son Awwal Tukur, Nuhu Ribadu, Buba Marwa, Ahmed Gulak and the new acting gov who went to Aso rock immediately they kicked Nyako out to tell president Jonathan and the whole world how he has returned PDPs stolen mandate, and the other candidates who wish to take over from where Nyako stopped..will loyalty to the party be considered or favouritism?
