Special 26 2 – Sequel will happen for sure – Director Neeraj Pandey Neeraj Pandey in an interview with us confirmed that he is looking for a script for the sequel of 2013 super hit film Special 26 with Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher. Special 26 was one of the most acclaimed film of 2013 and is one of the most watched film on television. The movie was a smart heist film with a lot of surprise element in the film. Since a long time there have been reports about the sequel to the much acclaimed film going around. The director of the film Neeraj Pandey cleared the air by saying- “Special 26 sequel is not happening any time soon but it is not too far either. It’s a fun genre. We had a great team to shoot for the film and we all had lots of fun while shooting for the film. We are looking forward to come back soon and we all feel that we should team up again soon.” When we asked Anupam Kher about his thought on Special 26 sequel, the actor said- “Yes, there is a scope for the sequel of the film as Neeraj can take us anywhere. It was a heist film and now the heist can shift to some other place in India or he can take us abroad too.
