Special Announcement from the Staff-Parish Relations Committee: Dear BUMC Family, The Bishop, Cabinet and our District Superintendent made the following announcement concerning clergy appointments for this year, effective following the Annual Conference: Rev. Dr. Tara Paul and Rev. Mark Jones have been reappointed to BUMC for another year. Rev. Dr. Dave Benson has been appointed Senior Pastor at Conyers First UMC. Rev. Dr. Brent Ward has been appointed Senior Pastor at BUMC. Pastor Daves last Sunday preaching at BUMC will be June 1. Please join the SPRC in thanking Dave and Theresa for their service to BUMC and wishing them the very best in their new appointment. We will be celebrating Daves ministry and many contributions to the life of the church at BUMC after the 11 a.m. service Sunday, June 1. We will also be accepting a love offering for Dave and Theresa. You may contribute to the love offering by making a check out to BUMC with a notation of Love Offering on the memo line.
