Special Care Attendants -St. Louis South, Arnold or Jefferson County American Home Care is actively seeking Special Care Attendants (CNA) to join its team in St. Louis, MO!! Must have active CNA license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel within a 20 mile radius Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are caring and dependable individuals who assist elderly and/or disabled persons in their homes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following; however other duties may be assigned: •Performed standard CNA duties to include feeding, bathing, positioning, etc. •Respect and keep confidential client information and property •General office and clerical duties. •Be free of communicable disease or illness when reporting to work. •Call and report to a supervisor and/or client in advance (within 24 hours of scheduled time) if sick or unable to be at work for any reason. •Report client incidents/accidents to a supervisor immediately. •Report to a supervisor any change in the clients health or if the client is hospitalized. •Report to a supervisor any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation. •Report to a supervisor for any reason the client is not found to be at home, not responding to the door, or if the client leaves on vacation. •Report to a supervisor any unsafe activity or hazardous situation found at a clients home or property. •Accept temporary assignments in a designated geographic area.
