Special Request for some good old fashioned hands on help from our Unions and anyone else willing to help out...Colwyn Comets, who have helped our kids in Colwyn and Darby for many years...is in dire need of some expert help in keeping our Frank Bosacco Park alive as well as their Field House and grounds. Depending on some help from Local 98 Electricians Union to help us fix and repair the lights for the fields so cousin Paul Martin and Sean Corbett - can you please reach out to John John J. Dougherty for us? We sure do need that special touch to light the fields. We also need help with the Plumbers Union and Local 420 maybe? Our Field House needs an Extreme Makeover as well as the bathrooms etc....So maybe our hometown boys - Joe Meyer, Harry Gallagher and his brothers can help us out too??? And how about the Carpenters Union? I know there must be one of our former residents or family or friends in that Union that can help us out? Anyone who is willing to help out, please contact me here or at 610-637-1091. I know we can pull this off and fix this field! Alot of us who grew up here - benefitted from the volunteers in the community who started the Colwyn Comets. There are still many dedicated volunteers in this organization like Hector Damien M Ockimey, Desman Johnson and Durrell Davis and many others. They are struggling to keep it alive so lets try and give back a little and help them out. Thanks in advance for any talents or trades you can contribute.
