From 2002 until 2012 David toured internationally as the right hand man of the famed Texas troubadour, Alejandro Escovedo. He was also the musical director of the Alejandro Escovedo Orchestra. This led him to performances on such stages as Carnegie Hall and to share the stage with such icons as Bruce Springsteen. In December of 2012 he was asked to be the bandleader and guitarist for two shows with Robert Plant and Patty Griffin, and went on to tour with Patty Griffin in 2013 in support of her new album release American Kid. In 2011he released a solo instrumental album entitled David Pulkingham Plays Guitar. In 2012 he released a 5 song EP of originals called David Pulkingham Plays Guitar and Sings and in 2014 he will release a full album of originals. David currently tours with Patty Griffin and plays internationally under his own name. Giulia Millanta is a songwriter from Florence, Italy, now based in Austin, TX. She is a traveller. She is a writer. She is a performer who uses her own unique style in combination with various genres to craft music that connects cultures……and she plays guitar, ukulele and she sings in four languages—Italian, English, French and Spanish. She released 3 solo albums and toured Europe and the US, sharing the stage with Willie Nile, Mary Gauthier, John Gorka…and many others. Jackson Browne complimented her after her set at the International Acoustic Guitar Festival in Italy in 2011. She just released of her fourth album The Funambulist, recorded in Austin and co-produced with Eddy Hobizal (Christopher Cross Band). These songs are smart and pensive...and they feature cool winding melodies and reflective lyrics. Millantas got a great voice. Shes one of those singers who manages to come across sounding incredible while simultaneously making it all sound so easy. BabySue Admission is $8.
