Special Yearbook Update The yearbook is in the final stages of production. With many deadlines ahead, wed like to put everything in one message for your convenience. Pictavo Community Website Thank you to all who have shared their photos from this amazing school year. The Pictavo Community site is a great way for you to upload your photos directly to the software used for the yearbook production. You will receive a confirmation when your photo is uploaded to our software. If youd like to upload your photos for consideration, please submit your photos by Friday, 2/6. (The exception will be Sock Hop photos, which will be accepted through the evening of Monday, 2/23.) How to upload your photos: 1. community.pictavo/ 2. You will be prompted to set up a new account as a parent, teacher or student. 3. Choose our school (ID# 36936). 4. Then, upload your photos just like you would to Facebook, Shutterfly or any other photo site. We have set up folders for many of the major school events and for each grade and teacher. 5. It is important that you upload in high resolution. Otherwise, we are not able to enlarge or edit many of the photos. Purchase a yearbook: Yearbooks are available for $25 through Saturday, 1/31. For a 5% convenience fee, you can order your yearbook through the Pictavo Community site. The home page (community.pictavo/) has a split screen. The left side of the page has upload instructions. The right side has order/payment information. You will still be able to purchase your yearbooks by check payments without the convenience fee. Deposit an envelope into the black PTA box outside of the front office with your student’s information (name/grade/teacher) and your check ($25 x number of yearbooks purchased). A special note: yearbooks were NOT sold at Sneak-a-Peek. From Sunday, 2/1 through Saturday, 2/28, the yearbooks will be available for $30. After 3/1, we cannot guarantee additional copies of the yearbook will be available for purchase. Any that are available as of 3/1, will be sold for $35. Dedication Ads: Yearbook dedication ads are also available for sale through the Pictavo Community site, on the right side with the yearbook purchase information. Here, you are able to design your own 1/8-page design for your favorite student. If you can create a digital photo page on Shutterfly or Creative Memories, you can do this. Cost is $25 for 1/8-page. Submissions are subject to editing for spelling/grammar and appropriate content. If you’d like to submit your dedication via hard copy, please include your message, photo, student name and class along with a check. These can be submitted to the PTA black box no later than Friday, 2/6. NO submissions will be approved for inclusion after this date due to publication deadlines. Cristi Kent, the yearbook editor, will be available to help with designing the dedication ads Monday, 1/26 through Thursday, 1/29 in the CHES computer lab.
