Specialist Pharmacist, Medicines Information Service (Support) SA Health - Adelaide City Centre SA Work type: Full time SA Pharmacy, Royal Adelaide Hospital Indicative Total Remuneration: $94,965 - $101,193 - Perm F/T - AHP3 Joining the SA Pharmacy Medicines Information Service located at the Royal Adelaide Hospital site, you will provide a high level of expertise and advice on the therapeutic use of medicines, contributing to their safe and effective use within SA Health and the community. You will play a key role in ensuring that KPIs are developed and met in collaboration with the Specialist Pharmacist, Medicines Information Service (Lead) and Portfolio Lead, Medicines Information Services, SA Pharmacy. As a senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for the teaching and training of pharmacy students, SA Pharmacy staff and other health professionals, along with supporting and participating in service development and research projects. This role presents a great opportunity to drive and support the provision of a high quality Medicines Information Service that continually evolves to meet the needs and expectations of its consumers. Holding a degree or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy giving eligibility for registration with AHPRA, you will have prior experience in hospital pharmacy practice and the provision of a Medicines Information Service. You will have a sound understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities in the provision of Medicines Information, along with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
