Spectator Kalaki PREDICTS PF PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGUS VICTORY Famous writer and University of Zambia Lecturer Roy Clark has predicted that PF President Edgar Lungu will win the forthcoming elections. Zambias famous satirist who pens his articles under a pseudonym Spectator Kalaki tweeted about Lungu’s win HH doesnt have the common touch. Lungu does. The writer also stated a common and known fact that Zambia changes government when there is massive revulsion against the Ruling Party as it happened in 1964, 1991, and 2011. Therefore Lungu wins January 2015. Many have predicted that the ruling party will win the presidential by-election with a comfortable proximity between Edgar Lungu and Hakainde Hichilema The PF party has 81 MPS and is enjoying the support of over 26 MPs from the MMD. UPND only has 27 MPs and the UPND Team had hoped that by creating a media blitz on Muvi TV and investing in posters and banners it would make their candidate jump from 19% from the last election to maybe around 40%. The problem with UPND, is their media machinery. It behaves like it is selling a detergent soap and not political candidate. And the closest they get to people issues is when the media insults and scandalise opponents. Both scenarios are poor strategy approach. The first one is not personal and people related. The other is offensive to many a diplomat stated. Many analysist are saying the loss of UPND comes down right to numbers. The party is the third largest party in Zambia. Many are also mocking Hichilema s promise of delivering a Constitution with such a paltry number of MPS as it requires a minimum 106 MPs to pass the Constitution.
