‘Spectre’ – What We Know About Bond 24 The character has been around for fifty years already but James Bond isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. November next year will see the 24th Bond film released. Up until today the project has been shrouded in secrecy, with only half reveals and rumours having reached our ears. All that changed about an hour ago though as director Sam Mendes took to the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios to make a few very special announcements. Firstly he addressed that small matter of what exactly we should all be calling it. Up to now we’ve all just referred to the forth-coming movie as BOND 24, not anymore though, from henceforth it shall be forever known as SPECTRE. The Bond enthusiasts out there will know exactly to what this name refers. Next came the news that the seven month production starts shooting this Monday (8th December). The filming will once more take the cast and crew to a variety of far off and exotic locations, and of course London. New locations include Rome, Mexico City, Morocco and Austria (yep Bond is returning to the slopes). And finally came the cast confirmation that can put to bed the months of speculation. Returning cast and MI6 members include Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and of course Daniel Craig. The organization will have a new team mate in the form of Andrew Scott. Joining these fine folks is the international talent which is a very interesting mix. Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci (who is looking very well for 50), Lea Seydoux and Christoph Waltz. We were even treated to a poster. No plot details were revealed though that title is definitely a rather large hint, and neither did they confirm what we all really want to know; whose singing the theme?
