Spectrum Academy Charter School, High School English Teacher goes on an unwarranted rant to special needs children who are on the Autism Spectrum. Eighth grade students in the Jr High were verbally bullied and put down. This is an enormous misuse of authority by a teacher, in any school. Our kids have special needs and every student has an IEP, which by law gives the students the tools they need to succeed. I have been told there is a meeting at 3:30 today at the High School to address this. Parents please remember that if he is not your students teacher now, he will be. He is the only English teacher in the High School. Please attend if you can.
